I do love your last album Aurora.
You are never where you are expected to and this is great! You just follow your own path by listening to yourself and your emotions and sensations; even if this path constitutes a cultural challenge.Indeed, singing in Hebrew was quite an ambitious challenge but you did get it!Except your parents, i was the proudest among the audience!
You made people being together throughout your music and this is infinitely more powerful than any political statement or meeting.By the way, i was so lucky and happy to meet your parents and to talk with them at the end of the show. They are great, moving and so sensitive.
Thanks for being Avishai.
Your music is a constant source of strength, energy, enthusiasm and inspiration.
It makes me thrill!!!

Avishai, i attended your 04/10 show in Bataclan.One more time, an incredibly powerful experience, both physically,emotionally and mentally.Because the way you work music, the way you arrange music, the way you play, you are truly unique.You just form one with your contrabass, as if it was an extension of yourself. You share your enjoyment and your excitement with the audience. And most of all, you tell true stories with your heart and your emotions.This is beautiful to see, to hear and to live!

Going through a tough time with my dad being sick, I'm lacking words to tell you how good and safe your music makes me feel. It's like being at home, with savta singing in Ladino, grandpa blessing the wine, and me playing the piano. I'm waiting for the Orléans and Paris concerts so much, and hope you'll set the stage on fire like in the Bataclan :) I wish I had known you while living in TA. Take care.

Your new CD blew my ears off!
I think your greatest talent is to be such a good composer.
Continuo first got me with the great bass playing but now I realise its the melodies that make all your music so lasting.
